Xavier's operates on a two day rotating schedule with a Wednesday's being reserved for independant student studies and or customized training classes, field trips or student lectures. These days are classified as Day A and Day B. As a rotating schedule, while one week will have two (2) Day As and two Day Bs. Please check the calendars in the common area of your dorm if you have any questions as to which Day falls on a certain date. Days are divided into five periods, the first of which is always devoted a compulsory Physical Education or Self-Defense course. Please note that these courses do not count towards any state-mandated Physical Education credits, but rather are required of Xavier's, which believes that a sound mind goes hand and hand with a sound body. Furthermore, each student is subject to a once-weekly two-hour training session in the student nick-named 'Danger Room' session. These sessions will group the student with others in various problem solving and physically demanding situations designed to push the students's skills of cognition, reaction, and control.
