Michael is a fairly tall, young man of mixed Ghanaian and Jamaican descent. His has an athletic build, and very exotic almond shaped eyes that compliment his rich ebony skin tone. By many accounts he is considered an attractive individual given his boyish good looks, and the attention he pays to grooming himself. When not in uniform, he can often be found wearing outfits that appear to be on the higher end of the clothing spectrum, although he gets them for much cheaper thanks to generous associates. He is always impeccably groomed, and even if he is in a wife beater and blue jeans, carries himself with a sense of superiority and finesse.

PERSONALITY:

Michael is a very calm and collected individual. He is the type of person that sits and observes, before commenting or engaging someone. He is very blunt, often to the extent that people view him as cold. This is often a problem because he is a very sweet individual. He believes that having control over most situations is ideal, and often manipulates situations so that he can maintain a sense of control. He has had a hard life, and tries to look past it and focus on the future. However, he still maintains in contact with certain individuals from his days of running the street. He has a very opportunistic and sometimes predatory approach to engaging people, but he also has a few soft spots as well. He will never outright or intentionally try to cause someone harm, preferring to disengage hostile situations if he can. He struggles with who he is as a person, and because of this he overcompensates and tries to look like the tough guy, but inside he is a very shy and introverted person. It takes him a while to warm up to people, but when he does, he is very protective and nurturing to them.

GOALS:

ATTRACTIVE - Michael has a habit of turning heads where ever he goes, regardless of how he appears. He is just damn attractive. The downside of this is although he tends to be able to use his good looks to charm and win people over; people tend to watch him more closely than they would the average person. This can make it harder for him to try and do something sneaky or underhanded.

CHARISMATIC – Michael just seems to have that special magnetic charm or appeal about him. There is something about him that people just can't seem to resist. He seems to have a personal attractiveness or interestingness that enables him to influence others in a positive manner. Positive in his eyes at least.

HARD TO KILL - Simply put, Michael is incredibly difficult to kill. Due to his ability to transform his body into smoke, he can often use this form to evade physical or energy based attacks. He can shift into this form to avoid attack, and shift back into solid form to retaliate very quickly.

CON-GOER – Michael is completely jazzed about the power he possesses and what it can possibly amount to. He will often try to push himself to his limit as he strives to go to new heights in his power, or sustain using it for prolonged periods of time.

POWERS:

SMOKE TRANSFORMATION- Michael possesses the ability to almost instantaneously transform his body into an extremely large and obscuring cloud of smoke. In this form he is intangible and extremely resistant to most physical and energy based attacks. It also allows him to temporarily blind enemies with his large cloud of smoke. While in this cloud form, Michael lacks the ability to communicate with others, and he is subject to being blown wherever the wind chooses. However, he does maintain a sense of what is happening in his environment. This form gives him a slight advantage over foes in battle because he can transform into smoke to evade attack, and then quickly regain solid form to retaliate. It is speculated with time, Michael may be able to communicate with other beings in this form, as well as begin to have more control over where his smoke form travels.

CONCUSSIVE SMOKE ATTACK- Michael, in solid form, has the ability to fire smoke filled blasts of concussive air from his hands and mouth. These attacks vary in strength. Some are so weak that they feel like a minor smoke filled gust of wind. However, others are strong enough to knock enemies through doors and windows, and at close enough range can even shatter bones. These “smoke bombs” also have a secondary effect. Upon impact, they explode and release a dense, sight obscuring cloud of smoke that is approximately six feet in diameter. This cloud of smoke is very helpful in making a quick exit, and it also serves to stun his foes as the smoke tends to irritate their eyes and causes trouble breathing. As of now, Michael can only fire blasts at a maximum of approximately one hundred and two feet. With time, his range, and the power of the blasts, may increase.

FIGHTING SKILLS:

COMBAT STYLE (Streetfighting) - This skill lets Michael use the environment to his advantage when involved in combat situations. If he inflicts enough damage to a foe in this way, the foe goes comatose. These actions (bites, eye gouges, kidney punches, and so on) are generally frowned upon in heroic circles.

ESCAPE ARTISTRY - Getting out of dangerous places. Using his smoky transformation Michael can reduce the difficulty to squeeze through ultra-narrow corridors, squirm out of ropes, and out of handcuffs from behind.

STREETWISE - The art of living and surviving on the mean streets. Michael knows how to handle himself on the streets and when dealing with low lives and undesirables. He knows who to or not to approach, how to identify gang signs, etc. He is also highly respected in most circles.

SEDUCTION - Michael is well versed in the art of using ones sensuality and sexuality to manipulate another.

DISADVANTAGES:

CONVICT- Due to his time in the street gang the 408 boyz, and due to his exploits as an escort/prostitute, Michael has been arrested numerous times for prostitution, drug possession, assault, etc... He has been in an out of juvenile detention centers for the last few years of his life.

INSENSITIVE – Michael often has problems understanding how to gauge other’s emotional reactions, and can be rather blunt as a result. He lives on a hair trigger, never knowing when his next mood swing will strike.

DISGRACED – Due to his numerous arrests, gang activity, and dabbling in prostitution, Michael is often seen as a disgrace to his family. As a result Michael is often seen as a non-entity in most social situations regarding his family, and often thought of as a general screw-up and is effectively treated as such.

UNIFORM:

Michael has a standard black leather uniform with a few touches of smoky gray running through the upper and lower portions of the material. His uniform is made of regular materials which does not transform when he shifts into his alternate form. Because Michael’s transformation is limited to only his body, this means that whenever Michael takes on his alternate form he sheds his clothes and must rematerialize in the nude…at least for now.
