John is a physically imposing male specimen. His height, coupled with his bulk, makes him look very similar to a life size G. I. Joe figurine. And his Native American ancestry, and extremely large amounts of testosterone coursing through his system, give him all the attributes of the “perfect man”. This includes his strong jaw, piercing eyes, and wide shoulders. Despite his semi-intimidating appearance, John is a gentle soul. He is a very peaceful man, and stays true to himself and his heritage. When not in uniform, John tends to wear more loose fitting and comfortable clothing. His style varies but he usually is a shirt and jeans kind of guy, preferring places like old navy and the gap.

John believes that a person becomes strong by having to struggle and fight for what they want. He has said that he does not want to have good luck, because he feels he can control his own fate. John has an iron will and inflexible determination. He is clever yet hot-headed, often letting his temper get the best of him. He rarely thinks his situations through, that combined with his powers causes him to get in trouble.

John is more perceptive than he seems, and often tells people what they need to hear instead of what they want. Hence, he is seen as a very life hardened young man, despite this he is not afraid to show his emotions when the moment calls for it, and is entirely capable of crying or losing his temper.

However almost in spite of himself, John has a warm and kind heart, defiantly looks out for those placed in his charge, and is, to a degree, quite compassionate once he understands another's point of view. However, he has some trouble with authority and traditional respect, and is often quite rude and disrespectful when talking to those older than himself, unless they’ve earned his respect.

GOALS:

DAMN HEALTHY! - Thunderbird is, as the name implies, damn healthy. Meaning that he eats all the right foods and partakes in plenty of exercise to keep himself in tiptop shape.

DISCIPLINED - Thunderbird is a disciplined young man, both mentally and physically. This allows him to keep his mind sharp and his body in peak physical condition.

INTERNAL COMPASS - Thunderbird is never lost or disoriented in any area that he has been to before. Once Thunderbird gets his bearings, he will be at a slight bonus to navigate in a new area.

SUPERHUMAN REFLEXES - Thunderbird's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are superior to those of the finest human athlete. Due to his reflexes Thunderbird's agility, balance, and coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete as well.

SUPERHUMAN SENSES - Thunderbird's senses of sight and hearing are enhanced to levels beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human. He is able to see with perfect clarity at much greater distances than an ordinary human. He retains this same level of clarity even in near-total darkness. His hearing is similarly heightened, enabling him to both hear sounds that ordinary human's can't, as well as sounds that they can detect but from much greater distances.

FIGHTING SKILLS:

COMBAT STYLE (UNIQUE) - Thanks to his enhanced physiology and acrobatic talents John is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant, with a fighting style which utilizes various techniques such as those used in boxing and wrestling, as well as ground fighting and tricking, makes John's fighting style unique and unpredictable.

DISADVANTAGES:

CHIVALROUS - Thunderbird must right any wrongs he witnesses, correct social injustice, keep any oaths of loyalty that he swears, and honor all deals and obligations that he accepts. Thunderbird must honor good people.

IGNORANT - Thunderbird tends to miss common cultural references that people take for granted, so people tend to think that he's slow or uneducated. In reality, growing up on his family's ranch within an Indian reservation, John missed out on a lot of pop culture from his childhood. His family didn't even have a television set.

MORTAL - Although strong, fast and durable, John is not immortal and can be killed with sufficient force and trauma.

SUPERHUMAN SENSES - John's superhuman senses render him extraordinarily vulnerable to excessive sound, odors, etc. If he is bombarded by too much sound at once, John can easily be immobilized which causes him great pain and leaves him disoriented.
