ATTRACTIVE - Gus has a habit of turning heads where ever he goes, regardless of how he appears, he's just damn attractive.

CHARISMATIC - Gus just seems to have that special magnetic charm or appeal about himself. There is something about Gus that people just can't seem to resist.

CONVICTION - Gus possesses a great belief in them self, what he is doing and what he stands for. He is able to stand up to the forces of evil and temptation better than most.

MATURITY - Despite being a teenager, he is far more mature than others might assume.

POWERS:

POWER NEGATION - Augustus produces a disruptive pulse from his eyes which can reduce or negate, for up to thirty minutes, the powers of any mutants, non-mutants, or electronic devices within twenty feet of him. The negation is equal to Pulse's power rank. If a target has a power rank above that of Pulse, their power is reduced by Pulse's power rank (example - Iceman has a power rank of INCREDIBLE. His powers would be reduced to GOOD if he was within Pulse's range.

MENTAL DEFENSES - Pulse's mind is naturally 'hidden' reflexively by his disruption ability. It creates a masking effect that disguises his brain wave patterns from psychics, up to his power rank level.

FIGHTING SKILLS:

COMBAT STYLE (Brawling) - This skill lets Gus inflict damage when using fists, teeth or any other natural attack. These actions (bites, eye gouges, kidney punches, and so on) are generally frowned upon in heroic circles.

OBSERVATION - a general ability to tell when something is interesting or out of place.

STEALTH - The art and science of avoiding detection. Gus is awareness of his body, of his body's movements, and most importantly of its limits. This understanding allows him to move with the utmost care and silence, and also to freeze stock-still in a concealing shadow when necessary in an effort to avoid detection.

DISADVANTAGES:

COMPULSIVE-AGGRESSIVE: Day-to-day exposure to horrifying scenes, blended with his innate desire to dust the perpetrators, has caused Gus to lose sight of his moral and social perspective on violence. Naked aggression is his primary way to interact with others socially.

IGNORANT - Gus tends to miss common cultural references that other people take for granted, since he was born and raised within a Weapon X facility.
