SPECIAL ABILITIES
ADVANTAGES: |
| BALANCE - Callista can run across ropes or rails, stand on top of posts, effortlessly climb ropes, and instantly recover from being thrown. Callista can also balance with her eyes closed.
CHARISMATIC - Callista just seems to have that special magnetic charm or appeal about her. There is something about Callista that people just can't seem to resist. She seems to have a personal attractiveness or interestingness that enables her to influence others.
COMBAT REFLEXES - Callista can react to threats almost instantly, meaning that she is very difficult to surprise and is extremely effective in close-range hand-to-hand combat.
CONFIDENCE - Callista possesses an untouchable air of superiority that makes others instinctively realize she's in charge.
HARD TO KILL - Simply put, Callista is incredibly difficult to kill. Even when you blow them to bits, they have an annoying habit of surviving... somehow. This relates to Callista being incredibly fast and agile, and therefore good at dodging attacks. |
POWERS: |
| ENHANCED SENSES--all of her senses are greatly heightened. The loss of her eye does not detract from her vision abilities. She has exceptionally sharp night vision abilities.
ENHANCED SPEED, REFLEXES & AGILITY: Callista's reflexes and agility are enhanced due to her genetic mutation. She also has hyper-speed, allowing her to move at a much faster rate than an average person (much like SPEED or QUICKSILVER).
REGENERATIVE HEALING FACTOR - If injured or ill, Callista's body can heal itself. The time that it takes to heal depends on the severity and nature of the injury. Minor cuts and bruises take only a few seconds. Severe (life-threatening) injuries can take up to several days. In cases where Callista has multiple injuries with varying degrees of severity, the healing factor will take care of the life-threatening damage first. Callista's healing ability also renders herimpervious to most illnesses, drugs and poisons. She is not, however, immortal. The loss or severe damage to life sustaining organs, such as the heart, kidneys, lungs, brain etc. would most likely result in death. |
FIGHTING SKILLS: |
| COMBAT STYLE (Brawling/Streetfighting) - This skill lets Callista inflict damage when using fists, claws, teeth, or any other natural attack. She also can use the environment to her advantage when involved in combat situations. These actions (bites, eye gouges, kidney punches, and so on) are generally frowned upon in heroic circles. That's one reason she uses them.
WEAPON STYLE - (blade/edged) - Anything from a Sword to the sharp edge of a playing card, assuming Callista can lift it. she can reduce the difficulty when throwing any edged object.
FAST EXIT - Callista can attack physically and move to firing distance before any foe can complete an action that affects her.
LEADERSHIP - Keeping a team together and focused on goals.
LOCKPICKING - Opening locks of all sorts.
STREETWISE - The art of living and surviving on the mean streets. Callista knows how to handle herself on the streets and when dealing with low-lifes and undesirables. She knows who to or not to approach, how to identify gang signs, etc. |
DISADVANTAGES: |
| COMPULSIVE SPEECH (aka Big Mouth) - For whatever reason, Callista has difficulty sticking to the rule, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say it at all".
In fact, her rules is, "If you don't have anything nice to say, come and sit by me."
CRUDE - Callista lacks the desire to fit in with more societal refined company. She uses crude language, forgets basic manners, says inappropriate things and may have at best a 'questionable' sense of style.
ZEALOT - Callista is a fanatic, and she will sacrifice anything for her ideals. Callista will defy the law if it conflicts with her objectives. |
EQUIPMENT
UNIFORM: |
| She typically wears leathers and tight clothing that accentuates her form and cannot get caught on sharp edges in the tunnels DownBelow. |
EQUIPMENT: |
| she carries a variety of blades and spikes for throwing and hand to hand combat. She also has a rope with a hook on the end for climbing. |
RESOURCES: |
| PR - Freelance employment, bad credit risk |
CONTACTS
CONTACTS: |
| MORLOCKS (Leader) |
ENEMIES: |
| X-Men |
HISTORY
Very little is known of Callista's history before she came DownBelow. The persistent rumors in her tribe suggest she was once a beautiful woman of culture and high society. The incident that took her eye and scarred her face drove her into the darkness, both figuratively and literally. She has yet to emerge from the shadows.
One by one, Callista gathered her flock of outcasts and orphans until they were a tribe.
