Paige prides herself in her appearance. But, her looks definitely aren't her main focus. In fact, she forgets about her looks quite a bit. But, in the morning when she wakes up, she tries to "doll" herself up as much as possible just for the reason that she won't have to look again. She's rather good with make up, though she's a rather large tomboy at heart. She'll play football with her siblings when they are short, or help tackle a bull that needs tagging. Her style doesn't hint much at it though, with her skirts, low cut shirts that show off her belly, and some classic dazy dukes to show off her legs.

She isn't a fan of heels though, feeling that those shoes are evil incarnate. She will wear them if needed, but don't think it doesn't drive her crazy internally.

Born and raised in the small town of Cumberland, Kentucky, Paige has always had a hard time coping with who she really is as a person. Not liking the fact that she was brought up on a farm, she hates being called a hick. Most people seeing hicks as ignorant and uneducated, she knows that she is better then that, and she tries her very best to not let the little farm girl in her show. She goes as far as even forcing a "Yankee" accent, only occasionally slipping into her Southern drawl when angry or stressed.

Often trying to find her self, she wants nothing more then to fit in, and will stop at noting when trying to make herself appear as if she did. She still has a lot of maturing and growing up to do as a person, though coming to the Institute and the city has caused her to grow up in a lot of ways as well. Finding a love for art and fashion, she has started to become quite the young lady. Leaving her overalls and boots on the farm, her style is a bit more of a trendy, sexy one. Not having a lot of money, she often makes her own clothing which is cute and unique in its own way.

Paige is very intelligent and can often be found in the library with her nose in a book. She has a good head on her shoulders and stands up for what she believes in. Paige has a very strong presence, being that she is very caring and understanding of others. She might be sweet and innocent, but like every young lady she has a sour side as well; get on her bad side, and she can be a bit feisty.

APPROACHABLE - There's is just something about Husk that is very sweet and innocent, therefore making her very approachable and non threatening. It is not unusual that people often come to Husk with their problems or questions.

CHARISMATIC - Husk just seems to have that special magnetic charm or appeal about her. There is something about Husk that people just can't seem to resist. She seems to have a look, style, and attitude that enables her to influence others.

CUTE - Paige has 'that smile.' There's no getting around it: Husk is cute. She just has that kind of face, and combined with her self-effacing attitude and her tendency to put on an upbeat and sometimes ingenuous face, well... even acquiring a certain amount of scruffiness couldn't change the fact that she's ridiculously cute. And while she may one day grow into a beautiful, sexy, even striking young woman, right now she's *cute.* Whether she likes it or not.

PRESENCE - When Husk is present, EVERYONE knows it. Husk has such a charisma that she is able to steer events in any direction and make people feel any emotion. It's her bubbly charm most likely.

TRANSITIONAL OMNI-MORPH HUSKING - She has the mutant ability to shed her outer layers of skin and reveal a new layer or shape underneath. Husk has the ability to shift into anything that does not exceed her body mass. Husk most commonly takes on a humanoid-like form of her own appearance in a new material, and prefers to do that over anything else, as she knows how to do that best. She can become any solid material that she has studied and can imitate.

ENHANCED PHYSIOLOGY - When changing into something like rock, metal, or stone, she also gains the durability or strength of that solid.

HEALING MINOR INJURIES - She can heal minor wounds when changing into a new form and shedding that skin. Such as a minor cut, scrape, or bruise; although, deeper wounds will carry on to the next layer.

FIGHTING SKILLS:

CHILDREN - Paige is great with kids from babysitting so many in the past. She knows how most of them work, and she knows the easy ways to get them to love you, or shut up and go to sleep.

COMPUTERS (Usage) - The skill of being efficient when using a computer. She can operate an Apple computer, write scripts, and effectively waste hours a day on the internet Googling with the best of them.

DISGUISE - Making herself look or sound like someone or something else. With the power she has, she is very skilled at doing this.

SCIENCE: MINERALS AND MATERIALS - She likes to learn about different kinds of minerals and surfaces, such as Diamonds, Granite, Wood, Glass, and other things she might want to husk into.

SEWING - Creating works of wearable mercantile, either for personal gratification or for sale to others. This includes weaving, tailoring, among other disciplines. Learning this skill from her mother, she has often found herself helping sew thinhs for her siblings.

DISADVANTAGES:

CURIOSITY - Husk has an incredible curiosity and desire to learn new things that can get her into trouble. Like any young girl, she finds herself sometimes unable to resist the temptation to check something out that catches her curiosity.

OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER - She is a bit of a perfectionist, and if everything is not in order she feels a great anxiety or worries about what might happen if she doesn't fix it. Every thing has its place, and she likes to keep it there.

POWER LIMITATION - She can hold a form for about an hour before she needs to turn back to her normal humanoid form. She can morph repeatedly and does not have to stay in any one form, but too many transformations can cause her a lot stress and be very painful. Also if she is very stressed, she has been known to change without even wanting to.

SHED CLOTHING - When she changes she also loses her clothing as she sheds. She releases an airborne chemical in the transformation that degrades the material composition of the clothes and leaves them brittle and weak. This may cause her to end up naked and in an uncomfortable situation. She also has to have a knowledge of the texture that she wants to change into before she can attempt to shift herself into that form.

SOFT-HEARTED: Husk is nice and naive and believes that other people are basically good. Alternately, she might be one of the most vocal grouches, but she possesses a gruff but kind personality.
